Love story #4

The moment of truth..,

Read Love story #3  for our previous encounter..,

It has been months after the heart pounding meeting we had that changed the way we treated each other. The calls become longer than usual. An altogether new feel that developed through me every minute she spoke had no boundaries of imagination.

At times the conversations were so stupid that there was no need of such, yet we enjoyed it saying, “time will answer” for all the hypothetical questions came up on each other.

I frequently heard her saying “I love your voice and the feel it gives me”. In most of our late night conversations, she fell asleep half way through which I loved as it pampered her mind from hectic schedule (she is working now and so am I).

I was very conscious about the words I chose as slightest of tensed or disappointed tone of mine disturbed her a lot once. She understood me with my silence even, which could never be done by me in my whole life. Occasionally, I asked silly clarifications about our conversations not knowing how to react for the situation.

It was her birthday month; she has already planned on a week-long leave. The day came on which I promised to take her out. For the first time, I was on time picking her and took her to the nearest shopping mall.

She had some small shopping to do like sandals, perfumes and other girlie stuff. Like the first time, it was “coffee?” from me and a way too delightful smile of acceptance from her. We chat over a coffee and shared some naughty conversations.

Its time for me to give her a present. I took her to Trends, picked up a few of my choice and asked her to try them on. One after the other she started trying them out and started taking pics of them. Once she’s done with every dress, she will whatsapp me an image and I wasn’t satisfied with any of them. She testes my patience to the core and I kinda loved the way she made me wait.

After sometime, the trail room opened. She called me in to take a look, facing her back towards me. I moved in the doorstep, looked at her in the mirror. I was stunned or should I say mesmerized at the sight of elegance?

She stood there with a black pant fully hugging her skin, Sandals that failed to cover her beautiful feet and the gem like painted nails in red. She stood there her right leg facing the mirror in front and left leg turned towards her left. This in-turn presented her pretty height with posture of royalty.

The knee length top which hugged her nicely, made my face turn red of jealousy. The pink and black colored art-work on the white sleeveless top is the second best thing she could ever wear, first being her smile.

Her right hand took the privilege of taking this everlasting image of mine to her phone. Her long fingers and sharp nails spread around the phone case made it hot in the midst of prettiness.

Her eyes fixed to the mirror failed to sense my observing eyes from the back. I moved an inch closer, not knowing how to complement this overwhelming beauty. After a moment or two, she came back to senses from praising her beauty and pride. The unusual close proximity of mine must have made her feel uncomfortable.

I know this is the first time I made her to be in such an awkward situation. Slowly her eyes darted the floor, her face filled with a pleasant distress of joy and discomfort. Watching her expressions change, my mind told me to move back but to no luck legs resisted. Slowly my right hand got hold of her hand with phone.

To see her fight through this situation, I moved a bit left. Her eyes still on the floor, she started breathing heavily. My left hand urged me to pull and bury her inside me, but this poor guy didn’t have the courage to do so.

With my shivering left hand, I took hold of her chin and made her look in the mirror. We both looked each other in the mirror as my left hand came back slowly to rest on her left elbow. A slight pressure and grip followed by it on her elbow made sure her shivering stopped.

The sweat at the back of her neck sent shocks through my spine. Her lean collarbone urged my hormones to react faster. At last, I was able to control the outcome by doing the unthinkable.

A guy, who feared hugging her rested his chin on her trembling left shoulder. Her hands were stopped from painting this image to her gallery because he felt this one is for heart. Her short height compared to Aditiya was a bit helpful as he didn’t make lustful contact with her body maintaining a reasonable distance.

That’s when my heart took charge from brain, placing a short kiss at the edge of her exposed left shoulder. He whispered “Be Mine Forever” and moved away closing the door behind to gather herself from the turn of events.

All this time, their eyes never missed a moment to look into each other, may be doing the work what the hearts were meant to do at the time..,

To be continued..,

Hi all this is Haritha, yup I am the one this idiot Aditiya keeps on talking about. Actually I was thinking of my dad when he first saw me on the train. I kinda liked him, not because he is handsome. Cause he was innocent enough to blush away when I caught him starring at me. That day, it was all fun for me just because I won’t miss my dad for a moment. But it all struck to me back when he came and said, “hi” after months. Initially I was afraid or may be stunned to see him again. And it was like a day dream when he said that, with his eyes looking into mine and nowhere else. His words fumbled but bold and his smile, WOW!!!, he was charming.

And in that coffee shop, I felt nervous for sure. I kept on asking him questions to hide my fears of messing up the moment. Moreover, thanks to the god, a girl came and talked to him which deviated our conversation that evening. However, I have to admit it, I was jealous on her for shaking hands with him. But he is not like all other guys out there, believe me girls, he is different. And Aditiya, the name matched his appearance quite well. If I’m right, he wore a black shirt with white pant that time, the shoes matched the combination with a black and white finishing.

Moreover, I have never seen a guy having such a wonderful ringtone that too from an AR’s album. After all, he was a romantic hero then. Cleverly planned, his every action made an impression and the way he choose his words was like being a in Mani Rathnam movie, not as an audience but as an heroine. I would say, he made me feel like that way. I was in hurry to leave, yet he was smart enough to get me a gift in between the time I escaped from his vision. As I got in the auto-rickshaw, things got into my mind. Why should he do this and why he leaves knowing nothing about me other than my name.

I am a girl, but it doesn’t mean I should not ask number to guy who impressed me in such a way. I stopped, got down and shouted, “next eppo meet pannalam..?”. Then only I came to know he isn’t an idiot and I was not smart enough to know the reason behind those gifts. I eagerly unwrapped the cover and found the book was “War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy”. I skimmed the pages as fast as I can and found nothing but a smiley drawn on the last page of the book.

My next idea of listening to the iPod too went in vain as I tried for an hour on hearing those files and found nothing. My next few days passed with disappointment as my daily routine of doing sheets meant no interest as it was before. I had no mood on reading the book, as we were unable to contact each other. Thinking of him, I let my phone slip through my hands straight into the water tub. I was low on money and had to go back home so my father can fix it back for me. The service center guy said it needs to be sent Delhi, so that I may get a new phone if it can’t be made to work properly (oh gosh, the warrantee expires one month later only). In the meantime, his iPod was my only company and it reminded me of him whenever I heard a song. I got my sim card as well as memory card, took a simple mobile as spare and came back to college.

The new mobile couldn’t find the protected folders in my memory card, so I tried on my laptop. Suddenly a blub started glowing brightly, actually it was my idea to look for his detail in the memory card from iPod. I put fourth my idea and clicked “unhide hidden folders”. There it is, a folder popped in the name “To my girl..,”. After few tries I opened the folder, obviously his name was it’s password.

As it opened I found three files; an audio clip, an image and a text note. I opened the image and it was his photograph as I expected. I would say it’s the most liked picture by his facebook friends. Then the text file,

 Ivvoru murai malai varum podhum,

                        Nethan malaiyai vanthu vittai..,

                                 Endra nenaipile nenaikindren.

                                          Malai nindra piragum…!

-Pavan Aditiya.

WOW! He does know how to impress an girl..,

Then finally the voice note and it said as follows,

“I don’t know who you are, what’s your name will be

and whether you will hear this any day or not, I am coming for

you. I will look into your eyes and say that you are the most

beautiful girl I have ever seen and it ever will be the same. I know

you will be thinking of me in the same way as I think of you every

day. I don’t know why I am doing this, even I don’t even know

your name by the moment I record this. I don’t know if its love or

infatuation, whatever it may be.., I’m coming for you dear..,”

He mentioned his number and in a hurry to speak with him, I made a call. But my mind went blank by the second he said “hello..!”, I kept quit and he asked, whose this?. Its almost a minute into the call, I got goose bumps on hearing his voice. My heart was filled with joy and it felt like I am getting a cardiac arrest. All this disasters inside me were put to rest as he said, “apram Haritha ?”

Note: as always looking forward to feedback guys.., thanks to all of you who helped me out on this episode of love story.

Will meet you soon..,

Dulquer-and-Nithya-Menon-in-OK-Kanmani1

After she left, the next three days were one hell of a ride. We progressed to the semi-finals of our tournament and lost eventually to a bad umpiring decision. It happens right; we have to accept them as sportsmen. By the way, I made some friends in nearby localities and that is how our second meeting happened.

It was three months later when a friend of mine from that famous college invited me to a symposium in his department. I wished to meet her in the same manner and so boarded the same train again. But luck didn’t favor me this time. I went to the so-called college and progressed through the preliminaries to enter design round of an event called “Astro-Q-Del”.

I had a day off to prepare for upcoming rounds and given accommodations in the men’s hostel. But my friend was kind enough to take me to his home as the food was not so good in their hostel. I knew he had a sister, I had not heard a lot about her in our conversations. It was around six in the evening that day, we reached his place, and his mother was waiting outside to invite me. I changed to an informal cloths and his sister was singing nicely in the next room. He called her out to introduce her to me and she comes with the same ID card tag my girl wore at the train. I greeted her and was hesitant to enquire her anything, as it was our first meeting.

I had some chitchat with my friend and we finished our dinner by 9. However, the face of the girl flashed at my mind frequently. We were about to sleep on upstairs where I explained him what had happened the last time when I came to Madurai. He was very surprised and avid to know who she was and did I know anything about her. I kept quiet for a moment thinking about her and my friend broke words “is that my sister?” to which I didn’t respond. He kept on calling my name until I gained sense. I replied in a low voice,  “it’s not your sister. But I can surely say she is from her college”. He agreed to help me find her with a condition, to give him a drink treat if we find her. To which I said “unaku illamaya machi..,” and laughed at him as he was fond of wine.

The sun came early in the morning to greet me good morning, by the time he was all dressed up and talking seriously to her sister. She gave “intha poonaiyum paal kudikuma..,” look while I came down the stairs. I know that he was teasing me but didn’t know by which means. About an hour later, we finished breakfast after which She approached me and asked about the girl I met in train. All three of us boarded the train and I explained everything to her, she too agreed to help me with a demand of 4 dairy milk silk.

The train halted at junction where she got down. With all the details I gave, she could easily find the girl in minutes. Moreover  4 hours later, I received a whatsapp message from her “I think this girl is whom you are looking for” and a photo attached to it. She didn’t find her exactly but the photo had my girl walking on the corridor with a drafter in hand. I was on cloud nine and texted her “Oui genius, not the one you said, the girl walking with a drafter and pink handbag”. So half of my task was done and it’s time to meet her then.

As per plan, I boarded the train one stop before her. My friend was waiting for us in her junction to help me out in this mission. She got into the train 4 compartments from me and my spy also followed her to the train. I had to wait ten minutes till the next stop so I could move to her compartment. Those ten minutes I had ten million thoughts going on my mind about what could happen now, I kept asking myself “will she remember me?”.

The time had come, I was in her compartment. I took a deep breath and approached her. She saw me coming and I could say she was shell-shocked. It all begun with a hi but all she could came up with was “who are you?”.  I knew she was bluffing; she couldn’t prevent herself from smiling. She got off the train in the immediate stop, I didn’t know what her plan was but I followed her. My friend’s sister was smart enough to stay on the train and inform him about the scenario.

Again I arid to start a conversation but failed in all attempts. Eventually she did responded to me when I asked “what about a COFFEE!”. Thank god, my plan was working to perfection. We entered a nearby coffee shop, nicely furnished probably the best place I had to talk with her. It was painted in lavender all over the walls and few books stacked near the entrance. We sat at a table near a window, which had only two chairs. She was in a hurry it seemed coming directly to the matter, “who are you and what do you want from me?”. However, I never thought these questions would be thrown at me, at the right moment my phone rang.  The ringtone sounded as “kuru kuru kangalile enai aval vendrale..,”, it was my mom to whom I lied “mom, I’m in the middle of a seminar, will call you back later.” In the mean time, she ordered two cappuccino for us. I thought it meant she was in a mood to talk. My thoughts were disturbed as she asked what that ringtone was. I am grateful to my mom, as her call changed our conversation. I answered in low voice as couples retreat – ARR.

She seemed to like that song and requested me to share, once we connected through SHAREit, I found her name(let it be unrevealed to you till my next post). It gave my friend and her sister to drove from the next junction and found us in the coffee shop. He showed me the iPod I was about to present her but I had no idea how he would give that to me. To my surprise I saw his sister walking into the shop, she called me by name and pretended to be we never met. She followed as “Aditiya right, you were splendid in the game against our college. Thought your team would win and it would be great if you have won” and extended me her hand. I had a formal handshake to her, said it was nice of her to remember me, and thanked her for the complements. I carried on saying my girl was waiting for me and would catch up sometime later. I was in such an amusement how she clever she was to give out the music pod to me.

The pretty girl sitting there seemed to be astonished on my act as I mentioned her “My girl”. She said, “So Aditiya it is” and suddenly broke into laughter. Our coffee arrived when we had some talks on the previous meeting.  We didn’t had much of a time to know about each other because  she was in a hurry to reach her hostel on time as she got down few stopping before. As she left the table to take rest room, I inserted a memory card full of my music collections and some password protected folders into the iPod.  In the mean time, I picked war and peace by Leo Tolstoy from the stack of books, paid and we exited the shop.

It was nice meeting you I said and said that I am about to leave the city the day after. She expected that I would ask for her number but I had other plans for her. I gave her the book I bought and shook hands with her. This way I placed the iPod in her hand the same way I got. I helped her get an auto rickshaw and told the driver to be careful. She got in and looked at me in eyes. I knew she wanted me to ask for her number or any other way I could keep in touch with her. The auto moved as I waved my hands at the driver signaling to move on..,

Few meters down the road and she stopped the auto, came out and shouted “next eppo meet pannalam?”. I smiled and said, “Call pannu solren”. She stared clueless at me and understood that my gift would carry some in formations in it. She left the place after a sigh of relief and I moved to my friend’s car. I thanked him as well as his sister for helping me out and once the symposium ended left to my college.

Note:  The name of the girl is up to you readers.., you are welcomed to give out names and most liked name in the comment list will be hers.

Stay tuned for upcoming encounters..,

Love Story

Love story #1

Hide and seek:

With a positive presumption that I will make my readers to wait curiously for every upcoming posts, I am commencing with an imaginative love story built with few of my real life incidents. Here comes the beginning of many more to come..,

prem

Myself Aditiya, a charming 20-year-old guy pursuing his bachelor’s degree. Until that day, I was quite happy to spend my time on grounds and with my teammates. I was doing fair as a hockey player and my team got into the conversation of some good old veterans after some sensational performances in the domestic circuit. This is how I (as well as my teammates) got a chance to travel to Madurai and this daydream of every boy became true to me.

It was September 12, 2015, a fine evening with occasional drizzling while I went deep into my novel sitting by the window seat of a crowed train on my way to Madurai. My peaceful journey was disturbed by the unlikely rain and what else I could do; closed my novel, irritated enough to jump into my upper berth. And on the way up, I found my girl standing by the door. She was short and surely damn cute in her blue top and white leggings. Her calm face, chubby cheeks and pony tail kept me staring at her while my friends stared at me thinking, “what is this idiot doing, half climbed to the top berth?”.

She seemed to be enjoying the rain with her headphones on (probably Rahman I thought). By the way she stared the fields, I would say she had profound thoughts going on inside her mind. Her eyes never met anything other than the fields outside. No matter what she was thinking, I started praying to god that she shouldn’t have a brother or boyfriend in the size of Brutus. Meanwhile my friends started cracking jokes about me.

I wonder girls have that power to sense if someone is looking at them. All of a sudden her eyes pointed at me, She got me red handed staring at her and all calmness in her face faded in seconds to inform me she that got annoyed. I was not good at girls, it doesn’t mean I had no girl friends but that moment was awkward for me. I blushed for a moment and climbed up suddenly. Her eyes returned to the fields but her thoughts could not. Now she was not so candid and conscious about somebody staring at her like anything.

Occasionally she was checking at me and I was clever enough to hide and escape for few times. The second time she caught me made me to grin and I didn’t blush away this time. She tried her best to give me an angry face and failed in the attempt. However, her reaction to that failure was prettier than she ever could be. Eventually she broke her lips to smile at the situation (may be at me too).

She was pretending to look away from me and there she is revealing the naughtier side in her. I got surprised at the same time clueless to her smiles. “Oh  God! She looks gorgeous” I said to myself. We arrived at the next nearest junction in another 5 minutes.

Few more people started to board the train as few got down. I couldn’t keep track on her as people blocked my vision. My eyes were seeking for her in anyways possible, her blue dress, white earphone or a pony tail. I climbed down and went by the door to look whether she got down on that junction. After ten long minutes without seeing her, the train left the station.

I was wondering what her name would be and where she had gone when I saw her walking towards me from the adjacent compartment. Definitely, her grin this time was directed towards me and with acumen eyes, she looked at me how funny I was.

I returned to my berth with a sigh of relief knowing that the next junction is definitely an hour long from now, hoping to break words with her. I was so excited inside and trying to calm myself. There she stood at the same place wondering how crazy I can be. The hour passed as our conversation started without words. She enquired me what I was doing and wondered at me while I showed her the famous writing of Paulo Coelho in my hand. To my surprise, she was listening to Rahman by that time.

The time came for her to leave, but I didn’t want her to. She got down and started walking towards the exit. I kept on looking at her as she walked away from me and she too turned back to see my couple of times. I didn’t know what just happened but I did know that I liked her. I was disappointed on myself for not talking to her but hoped we would meet again for sure…,
